(March 3, 2014) – Cory Steckler of Rocky Mount, Mo., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 21 pounds, 4 ounces Saturday to win the Bass Fishing League Ozark Division tournament on Lake of the Ozarks. For his victory, Steckler earned $3,889. Steckler said that he caught his fish throwing an umbrella rig in 8- to 15-feet of water in the North Shore area of the lake. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy Silverado, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard.
