GALLATIN, Tenn. (July 2, 2012) – Josh Tramel of Smithville, Tenn., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 16 pounds, 7 ounces Saturday to win the Bass Fishing League Music City Division tournament on Old Hickory Lake. For his victory, Tramel earned $3,021.
“I fished real slow,” said Tramel. “The area I was fishing had a lot of pressure on it, and I think my slow presentation really helped.
“I was fishing deep structure on the main river channel with jigs and worms,” Tramel continued. “Old Hickory is usually pretty tough fishing in the summer, but I think the slow presentation made the difference for me on Saturday.”
