I use a 60° mustad hook that goes to the brush mold jig for my poison tail mold. I have my poison tail set up to pour spinnerbait as well as underpins. Only thing you have to do is get a propane torch and heat the eye area of the hook up to a glow and bend it out to fit into the mold. Super easy to do
No sir, me and 2 other buddies. Me and my dad went up last yr and caught roughly 500 in 4 days, actually went back this yr but had crappy weather but still ended up close to 300 for 4 days
I have the same problem.. the fish just disappear for me until they hit the backs of coves... So that tells me they are transitioning, i just dont know where lol
Never heard the theory of bass not estimg dead bait.. was fishing Florida last year with shiners and they would eat them dead or alive. Alive did get more bites but the biggest bass of the trip came on a dead shiner at 8.5 lbs
I went last year for the 1st time and it was june 20th for 3 days, we caught roughly 250 fish on friday all avereages 2.5-3lbs it got to the point of where we was using something that was easy to unhook them. The next 2 days were tougher but there was 30+ mph winds and about the only thing you could throw was a rat l trap
Lol no secret spots on the bay, fish the flat in front of the monument, senkos, flukes, spinnerbaits, ratl traps, 1.5 square bills, tubes, basically anything will work when theyre on the flat
