With spring and summer upon us, that means RAIN!!!

For those of you that fish in the rain, what are some light weight rain jackets that you wear to keep dry but NOT hot in the summer months?

Any that are inexpensive but good enough quality?

I like Frog Toggs for spring & summer lightweight rain gear.

as for the frogg toggs, would it be possible to post a link of the specific type? I see a lot of froggs toggs that range from 30-100+ dollars, just for a jacket.

For cheap, just buy a poncho at Walmarts. I carry one and it works just fine for a surprise rain.

If you actually plan to fish in the rain, you need something much more substantial. I recommend

Cabels's Guideware.

Speaking of Froggtoggs, this is the one I got and I'm sure others are mentioning maybe?

They work fine just their not breathable like they say. I burn up in mine, lol. But if do get one remember to always button up as well. If order online go an extra size or 2. The jacket if not changed are short in the arms and to the waist.

I know our local walmart carries I think the full suit.

I have a pair of REI rain pants that are lightweight and the bottom half zips off and converts to shorts if it stops raining or you are too hot. I just wear a light rain jacket that packs into a small bag when it stops raining.
