alyswim Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Went out yesterday for the first time of the season. Slow day but beautiful water! Got my first smallie of the season and got to play w the new hds unit too! All in all a productive day! Can't wait to get out again! Luv pulling those fighters into the boat! Anyone else has luck on Lake Winnipesaukee yet? Quote
mhtranger Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 I'm going up on Friday to fish out of Moultonborough or Center Harbor depending on the ramps. We have some nice small mouth in Lees Mills area and around the area coming out of there. Quote

Super User Shane J Posted April 2, 2012 Super User Posted April 2, 2012 That place is like 50 different lakes that are connected. Awesome fishing, even though my biggest smallie from there is 4lbs, there are so many 3's, it'll wear you out. I don't hardly fish it anymore, because the traffic. Congrats on the first one of the year! Quote

Congrats on the first one of the year! Usually insane traffic! Couldn't believe it was Winni while out this weekend as we saw 2 other boats total all day! We fish it as it is 5 minutes from us and have town launch. Not to mention the clubs we fish hold 4 tourneys a year there so... That said, would still rather fish Waukewan any day ;-) Quote

mhtranger Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Tried to fish today in the Lees Mills area but the weather beat us up pretty bad. We did manage 2 LMB but on the small side. Wind was pushing us around and then some. Water temp was 42-45 depending how close to shore we got and sun exposure. Fishing Mendums tomorrow. Quote
bobh64 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I am doing Lee Mills also but thinking of going to Greens Basin, Raouls and Hanson cove to start. Quote

alyswim Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 Anyone have any luck this week on Winni? Doing Lee Mills again this weekend Been tough on winni. Went out Monday... forty islands and round. Caught a trout... no bass though. And the lake liked my cell so much it decided to keep it. Good luck to u! Fishing a tourney on Mascoma Saturday. Quote
bobh64 Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Bummer about the cell, fishing Lee-Mills Sunday towards greens basin hoping the bass will be hungry by then. Last year caught a laker near Sandy island on a tube lol. Quote
