Missouribassman95 Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Went out to my favorite pond today, and caught seven nice bass. One on a spinnerbait, five on a plastic worm, and one on a jig. The largest was around three pounds or so, I also hooked two monsters, but they broke off. The bass are close to the bank and feasting on bluegills and minnows. Shouldn't be but a week or so before they start spawning! Quote
KansasBASS9948 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I'm heading out to Melvern Lake in Kansas tomorrow morning. The smallies are already spawning and the LM's are staging. With all of this warm weather things are heating up early this year. Looking forward to a productive Spring! Quote

Melvern has been really hot the last couple weeks, not sure what this cooler weather will do to them but we've gone twice the last 2 weeks and had 100+ fish days both times. There was some bass on beds at Wyandotte Co lake on Monday. Quote
