Tallahassee Bass Anglers license plate on the front of the truck, Humminbird, Falcon Rods, and B.A.S.S. stickers in the rear window, caved in license plate in the rear from hitting it with the trailer while hooking up the boat.

I have a St. Croix sticker on my car window right now. I have a couple fishing shirts I wear once in awhile to. I don't feel a huge need to show it off. People who know me know I fish.

Ironic, yes, but true just the same. If you didn't know me it would be a rare occasion when you could tell I was an angler by my clothing or anything else. Of course, when I'm pulling my boat or I have a jon boat hanging out the back of my truck it is obvious but that's not showing off. That's a necessity to go fishing.

I make it a habit to wear my Cabellas cap to Bass pro and vice versa. I fish Abu Garcia, Shimano, and Quantum rods, but since GLoomis is giving away hats and shirts FREE I suppose I'll get me some of 'em. If they start giving away their fish poles for free I'll probably get me some of THEM too. Just sayin...

I had me one o' them Saint Croak rods, broke it on the third cast. Then I found out they don't have any warranty, and neither does Gloomey. So I buy other products these days.

I don't, and I won't, unless someone can convince me that stickers, decals, and other paraphernalia affixed to me or my truck will make me a better fisherman.

When a passerby will strike up a convo since he noticed a common ground it might lead you to a honey hole, where theyre hitting, or at the least a good story.

My experience is that there are very few anglers who will give the keys to their honey hole to a total stranger. But, it's just me. If someone wants to cover the dents and diggers on their boats or tow vehicles, that's great. It's just not my style. There is no right or wrong when it comes to displaying your interests. Well, most interests anyway.

I see your point, my area is much different. Such poor conditions to fish its more like you have to tell others. There are the idiots out there though I admit that, but hearing about locations help me out.

Only ones that need to worry whether I fish or not...are the fish! ;)

I carry around a Bass that I caught 4 years ago everywhere I go. Theres not much left of it but some dried up skin and protruding skeleton, and it kind of smells, but its a good conversation starter!

ive got a sticker of a smallie in my back window and wear a fishoflauge hat just about everywhere i go. im normally tinkerin with, or talking about something pertaining to fishing at pretty much all times. i dont purposely flaunt the fact i'm a fisherman, but i just can help myself from showing something i'm so passionate about.

When at work I just complain to whoever that will listen that I ought to be fishing rather than stuck there with them.

My G Loomis tattoo. Okay, not true. I suppose that the "free" TW sweatshirt from 2 BF's ago that I seem to wear all the time I'm not working gives me away.

Don't need to show off. But if one was to ask how people can identify me as a fisherman, I'd say it's the nervous tick I've developed from all the hours of waiting for that minute little "tap tap" on the other end of the line or, perhaps, the odd expression I now have from holding my mouth just so.
