BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted October 25, 2009 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted October 25, 2009 I used my first one yesterday and love them. It turns all of my favorite plastic into a jig that is weedless. The only problem is that they are 2 for 5.99. Does anyone else make them, maybe one of our own guys? Quote
Willzx225 Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Paycheck baits makes one similiar but they are 2 for 6.69 on TW so back to the drawing board. Quote
SportMN Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Paycheck makes one called the Punch Skirt.. but as stated, its as expensive.. I would think one could make their own QUITE easy.. Quote
revoman Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 When you get them made let me know,Ill take some Quote
Super User grimlin Posted October 28, 2009 Super User Posted October 28, 2009 I may try and get Gman to make these....would you guys use them? Or are you guys just looking for the skirts with the band without the weights? Quote

Or are you guys just looking for the skirts with the band without the weights? This is pretty much what V&M made, it's just that head with a skirt banded on. Biggest issue with this is it's lead not tungsten. If it's just for basic fishing, it shouldn't be an issue. But if you're planning to use it for punching or anything, it makes it 10 times harder to get into the cover. Quote

Thefishy1 Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 What would be the difference from just threading a jig skirt on to the line? Has anyone tried it? I have one tied on now and it looks pretty dang good, I just dont know how it will actually perform. Quote
revoman Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 That sounds like a good idea.Wish I would have thought of that. Quote
