Anyway..it's like a florida -rig weight, (with wire) but has a plastic body instead of lead. Any info would be greatly appreciated....later Quote

They keep baits from sliding down the hook, help your hookup rate, and help hold them on the hook. You will catch twice as many fish before you have to replace your plastic. parasiteweights.com Quote
