Super User J Francho Posted March 29, 2012 Super User Posted March 29, 2012 So, when it's on the transom (rear of the boat), and you put in Forward, with the throttle knob pointed toward the bow (front) of the boat, the boat moves in reverse? Quote
Team_Dougherty Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 The pointy end of the motor is forward. If the the motor is on forward the pointy end should lead the way. If you have it on front of your boat you may need to rotate the head so the tiller it pointing towards the back and the propeller is point the same way. With the motor on the back the tiller should be pointing forward and the prop towards the back. Quote
Team_Dougherty Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 fixed it, thanks. How? what was the issue? Quote
Super User Sam Posted April 2, 2012 Super User Posted April 2, 2012 Not to sound nasty but I have never heard of this occurring. I think Paul was correct in telling you to adjust the trolling motor's head or arrow to point in the direction you wanted it to go. Glad it is now fixed. Quote
