I like to buy as much American made products as possible. Its not easy, but I try.

Does anyone know of an American made hook that is of equal or greater value than an Owner or Gamakatsu? Tried eagle craw, hated them. Only use their trailer hooks.

The new Trokar hooks are American made if I am not mistaken.

Made by Eagle Claw, so you are still buying an Eagle Claw.

I 'm not saying that Eagle Claws are junk, I 'm just saying that when compared to Owner or Gamakatsu I find them to be fair while the others are very good ( Gamakatsu ) or excellent ( Owner ).

Eagle claw makes a dern good aberdeen hook...the red worm hooks are okay if you don't store them for long, tend to rust quiet easily and the bronze are even worse.  A good hook for fishing on a budget that are readily available.

I buy american products when they are of higher quality, even if being made in America makes it a lot more expensive.

Americans can't make a d**n hook to save their lives.

Give me Owner or give me death.

Never had a problem with eagle claw and never had a bass straighten one out, rust no issue I use a fresh one each outing.

I use 4/0 circle eagle claw for kings, dolphin and bonita and they still don't straighten out.
