SDoolittle Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 I honestly have no idea how many different colors I have. I have tons of soft plastics in dozens of colors, but the vast majority of them never see daylight. Quote
Super User Marty Posted March 25, 2012 Super User Posted March 25, 2012 Generally two, a dark and something lighter. Quote

endless Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 As much as I can fit into my worm bag. I have tons of colors and styles. To name some watermelon, watermelon red, green pumpkin, green pumpkin watermelon laminate, bama bug, june bug, plum apple, black blue laminate, etc Quote
Crankenstein Crony Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Couple watermelon colors, pumpkin, green pumpkin. I like to keep my colors simple and natural. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted March 26, 2012 Super User Posted March 26, 2012 In just about all of my plastics, I only carry 4 basic colors, with a few variations on those basic colors. For example, green pumpkin is one of my staples. But in a few baits, on a certain body of water, I like green pumpkin with a certain color of flake in it. Why? IDK, probably all in my head, but it gives me a little extra confidence sometimes knowing that this combo of color/flake has produced before. Quote

Super User Hooligan Posted March 27, 2012 Super User Posted March 27, 2012 I typically have five colors in most of my baits. Very rarely do I venture outside those unless it's a very specific lake or condition. In many cases, I fish only two colors on local waters. Quote
A-Rob Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 one realistic (ie watermelon or green pumpkin) one dark (junebug, red shad etc) If I can get it in bama bug, I just fish that all the time That's how I try to keep the $$ down Quote
