HELP. i need a new trollilng motor. I have a 17' alum bass boat set up for a 24v tm.

I had a Motorguide wireless and did not like it. Today, I find out water was in the lower unit over the winter and now it is rusted and broke.

Does anyone have any experience with the Minn Kota Edge 70 lbs? I want a cable drive system this time. Any suggestions are appreciated.

i have one on my bass tracker and it has worked flawless....when i wear this one out i will buy another for sure.....if you look around you can find the older ones on sale.....the newer model has a composite bottom...
