Does everyone use a trailer hook on all of their chatter type baits, or isn't it necessary? Just curious, I still have not had any luck on those things.

i don't use a trailer  hook. make sure u are using a color appropriate to the light penetration of the lake and   if u arent getting any bites then u are doing something wrong because these lures catch fish. try fishing them slower(a turn of the reel every 2-3 secs) then let it fall about a foot after every 5 ft it moves

GOOD LUCK

I use a trailer hook on the original Chatterbait, but don't use one on the Booyah Boogee Bait.
