Super User iceintheveins Posted October 14, 2009 Super User Posted October 14, 2009 Do they suspend or float back up on the pause? Quote
tyrius. Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 If you're talking about the Rapala DT series, they float and they'll rise pretty quickly. Quote
Super User skunked_again Posted October 14, 2009 Super User Posted October 14, 2009 but, its easy to make them almost suspend. i like using them both ways. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted October 14, 2009 Super User Posted October 14, 2009 They actually back up on the pause, making them great for running through cover. Most floating baits spiral up. Quote
angler1 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Most all cranks will float to the top on the pause if you leave them there for more that a very brief pause. The lure will say suspending on the package or sinking for a bait that will sink when it is paused. If you don't see either of those two descriptions on the package, I almost asure you that it will be a floater. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted October 15, 2009 Author Super User Posted October 15, 2009 I figured it floated back up. Just making sure. Thanks guys. Quote
Five-Alive Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I have had good success with the DT series of Rapalas and have not had a lot of trouble hanging them up. Quote
