First off, I'm a big fan of Rapala products and when I saw that they were the parent company of Suffix, I figured I would try it. As soon as I took it out of the box I fell in love, 17lb test clear was so smooth and slick I couldn't believe I only payed 7 dollars for it. Spooled it up on my Curado and I fell in love. Outstanding casting abilities with this line, I have never seen mono line fly off the spool so smoothly. It's amazing. Not once have I had it break on a fish, it has a perfect amount of stretch and strength. I reeled in about 400+ bass last season on that line and I have no bad things to say about it.

No hahahahaha But I seen his age, where he is from, and where he likes to fish. I at least thought y'all might known each other. If not who knows.

Cool i picked up 2 spools of this at Bass Pro during the sale. I got a spool of Suffix Siege 12lb clear and a spool of 12 lb Camo. Got them both for $5 a peice. Good to know i made a good purchase!

Thanks for the review. I love Sufix Siege too. It's my favorite mono for fishing conventional baits.

If you enjoy Sufix Seige, definitely give the Elite a try. It's the softer, more supple brother to Seige and I enjoy it for light cover fishing, when it's appropriate.

Agreed and I even like elite for topwater poppers and in green for wacky.
