Super User Shane J Posted April 2, 2012 Super User Posted April 2, 2012 I would expect no less, Dwight! Great fish! Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted April 2, 2012 Super User Posted April 2, 2012 Solid Start Dwight. What took you so long ? A-Jay Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted April 2, 2012 Super User Posted April 2, 2012 WTG Shane and Dwight. You're both looking pretty safe up there in the 80% range! I'd have to bump up my 9.06 LMB PB by 2 1/2 pounds to 11.6 or better to get to 80%. Someone from California would have to post a 17.6 pound fish! Congrats! Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted April 2, 2012 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted April 2, 2012 Yep, I guess I'm going to Sea World errr Kissimmee to find my 14 pounder so I can get close. Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted April 3, 2012 Super User Posted April 3, 2012 Yep, I guess I'm going to Sea World errr Kissimmee to find my 14 pounder so I can get close. As a part time florida resident I'm wishing you the best. You never know. It can happen. Yesterday I had a great day & was getting ready to pull the plug after an hour of no action when suddenly there she was. Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted April 3, 2012 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted April 3, 2012 I saw a 14.6 pounder come back to the weigh in at Camp Mack 2 years ago. I know a guy who goes out with FWC an does the shocking. He claims to have seen many over 15 that were in the edge of the shock range and never got netted or counted so I'm hoping. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted April 10, 2012 Super User Posted April 10, 2012 Wow - it looks like Shane and Dwight scared everyone off... Well, I said I was "in" so I'm going to post some fish pics - even if they're losing entries! At least it will bump the thread... For 3 years now, my biggest bass have been caught between October and February - outside the period of this contest. I've only caught two nice (nice for my lakes) fish since the contest started - both caught this past Sunday within about 30 minutes of each other (and it was dink city for the rest of the day). 5.02 / 21in - a whopping 34.6% of the TN state record - caught on my trusty 5" grub: And a 4.80 / 20 1/2in - caught on a daytime buzzbait bite (love topwater in the daytime!): The combined weight of BOTH of these fish don't match the percentage of Shane's and Dwight's entries... but at least it's an entry.................. 1 Quote

Super User J Francho Posted April 10, 2012 Super User Posted April 10, 2012 I'll be in a kayak on this water soon enough. I'm not a bass, so I'm not afraid. Or maybe I should be? I am the pike whisperer... 1 Quote
