I believe this officially puts me in the lead?

Looks like it - but there is a decent chance "Your Lead" could be short lived.

I am however, still waiting for Ice Out.

Good Luck

A-Jay

Win early lose late.

Haha. I'm not even counting the 7-2 I caught last night against our 10-8 record. The season is young, my freinds.

That's 67.86 percent and isn't too shabby. In fact, in years past that may have been high enough to win though FishinDaddy will know for sure. I would post a 68 percent. You can always post a larger fish and upgrade later if you catch one.

Mr. Perry really set a high bar for us here in Georgia, I got a serious fish, but it still represented a low score. Ive got high hopes for everyone, itd be awesome to see some state records get seriously threatened or even broke by someone on here.

Good luck to everyone!

For pictures that don't really bring out the weight of the fish (and maybe do it injustice- or are slightly lighter than posted), i think a picture with a scale should be included. There are always a few that look a little rounded up. I'm not saying i'll be a contender this year, just pointing out that there are pictures that seem very interesting and it is an injustice to Dwight and his plethora of monster tank feed pet smallmouth he keeps in his house and photoshops lakes in the background after pictures...

trying to come up with anything Dwight, i knew you'd understand.

I guess I should bring a scale when I go out, LOL. This one has got to be more than 50%:

Well, it happened today. I did break my PB, and will be entering with a 9lb,1oz (23.25"). New Hampshire state record largemouth is 10lbs, 8oz. Anyone wanna do the math for me? I have a couple cell pics, but believe the ones I have on my actual camera are better, but I am having a problem with my pc, and it won't let me download from my sim card. Should be able to do it somewhere else, and e-mail myself the pics. Anyway, caught her (plus another 7-2), on a bluegill colored swim jig, with Watermelon Red Baby Craw, tips dipped in chartreuse JJ's. Here's one of the cell pics, just to be official, but more are to come (including one on the scale).

Nice! 9.0625/10.5=0.863

So I believe that is a score of 86.3

Bigtime congrats on the new pb, Shane. Looks like I need a 7-6 smallie or bigger to beat you. :laugh5:

Thanks! Dwight, I'm pretty sure you know where some 7's hang out. I'd almost put money on it, that mine will not be the winning entry, but she sure as heck was fun to catch!

Mid 80 percentile is gonna be tough to top. I'm looking at a 7 lb. + smallmouth, or a 9.5 lb. largemouth.

Looks like I need a 8 pound smallmouth or a 10.5 pound largemouth to take the lead. Awesome!

You could do that on LSC. Might have to poke around some beds.

I got out on Erie today for the first time. My first smallie was 4.75. Then I caught a 5-1 & a 5-3. Finished the day with a big girl that had a black spot on her tail. She measured 22.5" long by 17" girth. She weighed between 6.75 & 7.0 on my boga & weighed 6lbs-15 oz on my becknell digital. Pa state record is 8.50 lbs. 6.9375 divided by 8.50 is .816x100 =s 81.6 for the smallie category. Looks like I'm sneaking up on you Shane for the overall. :laugh5:

Is pa still even a part of the US? Not sure. I may have to make up a new rule.
