MaineBassFishin Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Haven't tried but would be good for states with a limit of two bait rigs Quote
Super User aavery2 Posted March 14, 2012 Super User Posted March 14, 2012 Kansas is a two bait state, we can however use attractors in the form of blades or streamers, a buddy of mine and myself have been working on a few different designs and have come up with these. They look amazing in the water, and are very easy to make yourself. Quote

Diggy Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 I got one at dsg today. Will try a bunch of things this week Quote
Mumpy Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 I bought two of them the same day I posted that I wanted one now, lol. I took one of them and used a Willow Leaf off an old Spinnerbait I had and made it just like the photo. I didn't catch anything on it but, I didn't catch one fish all day so I'm not judging. I know for a fact that lure is going to catch fish for me. Did anyone see where KVD used it during the Major League Fishing tournament? Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 I like this as a smaller alternative to the alabama rig for the small ponds I usually fish. Can't wait to make my own. Quote
BrianSnat Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I was at a show a few weeks ago where a "bass pro" was casting one of these http://www.basspro.c...SwarmMar2012_HM in the "hawg tank"(BTW the bass in the"Hawg" tank weren't all that big). He was insisting that if you weren't using one you had no chance in today's tournaments. He mentioned that a diver he knew watched bass ignore schools of minnows, but if there were a handful of minnows, like 2-5ish they would go crazy. This is supposed to imitate that. Take that for what its worth. Quote

VABasser Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 A friend gave me a double up rig a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had a chance to fish with it yet, but it definitely seems to have some potental. Curious to hear some reviews from people who have used them. One of my concerns is how much of a negative impact,if any, the presence of a chunk of wire will have on a realistic presentation. Quote
Diggy Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 I threw 2 buzzing frogs on it and that looked good, will attempt to catch some bass and snakeheads with this week. I had the best presentation with 2 swimming flukes on swimbait hooks. Quote
Sherlock 60 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 I just discovered these over the weekend and haven't used it yet. Anybody have an update since the last entry in March??? Quote
