It depends, Walmart's individually adjust their clearance price to whatever they want, unfortunately my walmart's idea if a clearance is 10-50 cents off the original price. If they are way below the base price I wouldn't mind grabbing a couple

Spots are great rattle baits, they fall slower than others and simply get bit.

Redfins are great shallow water baits, and quite popular with the landlocked striper crowds.

I can't think of anything else they make that's worth having.

believe it was a few jerk baits and a few lipless, i went tonite, to pick up non fishing things, apprently someone likes them, only seven lipless baits left..

Just picked up some traps & big-o's tonight, were marked $1.99,rang up for $1.57 each..can't complain about the quality, always have caught for me in the past.

They had some on a rack in front of the fishing section at academy for 1.29 each. I used them all year last year and they produced very well for me. One day in mid october after a front and some rain blew through we went out and landed 20+ on the chrome and black cotton cordell's with no problems. I grabbed the last 6 off the rack. Plus the sandies eat them up like CRAZY where i fish and we have a huge fish fry.

I use those Cordell lipless all the time. A buck is a great deal. My local Funny Mart had suspending rogues, regular and deep, under three bucks so I snagged a pile of them. I'm going to start checking there more often.

x2. Spots are one of my favorite shallow water lipless cranks.

Super spots are the best lipless cranks around, especially when you need the slower fall and wider wiggle.

I'll never buy spots again. Leave em in the sun and the swell and distort.SK Redeye Shads do it too. There's a difference in customer service though. SK replaced the swollen baits no questions asked. I had to pay the postage to ship my Cordell spots so they could inspect them. I sent them probably 12 of the brand new baits that I hadn't even tied on. They called me and said they would replace them at no cost to me. 2 hours later I got a call that they changed their mind and they wouldn't replace them and would be sending them back. Would have been nice if they would have honored their original decision. No more Cordell products of any kind for me!

The baby big o has a honorable spot in my panic box and has filled a limit more times than I would like to admit.

I'm glad I read this thread because I hit Wally world today and took a quick walk through the sporting goods section and to my amazement there was a full box called the Rapala Treasure chest and everything in it was $4.96. So I dug through it and what did I find? I got myself a few Rapala Flat Raps, and not just any but the FLR 10, the 4" 3/8oz ones I use but are harder to get and the best was they had them in a color I wanted but wasn't carried by either my local Cabelas or BPS, and that is Yellow Perch, not to be confused with the Perch color. No, the Yellow Perch color is more subtle and not too bright, these aren't cheap, TW has them at a better price but they don't have the bigger size but even the smaller one is $8.49 and Cabelas wants $9.49 while another site has them for $8.99 so I came away a winner.

I have a ton of confidence in their yellow perch pattern.

The Spots are great, second only to the RatLTrap. They do sink more slowly, and sometimes that is a good thing. The CC Shad rocks, it sometimes outfishes my beloved Shad Raps.

Really?

Save your dollar and buy a couple of Red Eye Shad and Xr50.

You won't need to replace the hooks either.

Yeah,really!

I can buy four CC spots for the price of one SK red eye/XR50 and still catch just as good, maybe even BETTER and will throw them more willingly into snaggy areas..

I own both the xcaliburs and SK RES's and they work great, but don't look down on the time tested and proven cc trap! That bait has been great for me for many, many years.
