ShakeyRage Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Hello Everyone, I have learned a ton from this site and all of you posting on the forums over the last few years and I decided it was finally time to share my limited knowledge and hopefully meet some more anglers from my area. I am from Hampton, Va and If I had to pick a "home" lake it would be Beaverdam Resevoir in Gloucester. I also fish Maury, Newport News, Waller Mill, Chick, Gaston/kerr and any other place that has water. Since everyone likes pictures here are a few from my first trips of the season. Quote

Super User Darren. Posted March 11, 2012 Super User Posted March 11, 2012 Welcome! Ah yes, Beaverdam, NNPK, Waller Mill. All good reservoirs, some big stripers stocked in Waller Mill! Also fish Harwood's Mill. Beaverdam has some incredible "fields" of submerged stumps. Quote
ShakeyRage Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 Thank you for the welcome everyone! Welcome! Ah yes, Beaverdam, NNPK, Waller Mill. Yes it does. thats one of my favorite aspects of BD...tons of cover everywhere and tons of grass where there isnt. im not a big of harwoods but i havent fished it in a while either. I guess i left of bethel but ...bethel and newport news are really when i want to stay close to home. I prefer maury on the penninsula but obviosly it would be nice if you could launch there....
