I won 7-5 I am in the championship game!....swept him in all offesive catagories and won era to pull off the W. This guy I am playing, I have had a tough time beating him all year.

This guy I am playing, I have had a tough time beating him all year. Dude that's awesome! Congrats! I tanked in the first round as the second seed, and then won the 5th place game. My draft turned out to be an absolute disaster, all me, so I should be happy with the second best record...but of course I am not. Lol. Chris Nelson has made his way onto my watch list for next season's draft. Guys like Haren, Hosmer and J Up should be available at a decent discount. Oh well, there's always next year. Lol.

Thanks man. I know I missed my draft and was lucky to get players like Craig, Furcal for the first half, and Lynn off waivers. I know next year Craig ain't coming cheap. Hope I can hold it together, but either way this will be my best finish in 4 yrs playing, 3 was my highest and 4 was my lowest

Fantasy football is fun you get all sorts of people and talk all about the games, but baseball you need to really be on point to make the pickups and know who and what is winning. And Lets go O's bounce those Rangers out of the playoffs and seal their collapse.

The one that got away Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 I haven't been following this long thread too closely, but even though I don't have a dog in the fight (Red Sox fan) I have to say all of the playoff series so far have been great. Feel a little bad for the Nats fans though, that was tough. The check swing call on Freese could have gone either way, and that would have ended it right there if I'm not mistaken.

That sucks for Putz and Hernandez but if Bell can rebound makes AZ a great pen. Is Putz a FA this year or next? Agree, Gaints played like a TEAM, hats off to Tim Lincecum for doing what was best for the team. And the rest of the guys too. You don't see that much in pro sports anymore can't wait to talk it up will y'all next season, we have what 3 almost 4 months til pitchers and catchers report!
