Siebert Outdoors Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 For all of you that have put these on your boat where did you place your transducer at? I'm looking at putting it on the bottom of my jackplate. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted March 7, 2012 Super User Posted March 7, 2012 That is a good place. I sent you some pics of my install. Quote
Todd Driscoll Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 I prefer to mount them on the splashplate cover if possible - works great like this. You can mount them on the lower side frame of jackplates without the bottom cover, but you tend to get some beam kickback from inside the jackplate frame. Quote

Todd Driscoll Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Thanks for the link Al. I knew there had to be an aftermarket company making splashplates for various jackplate brands but never could find them. Quote
