Dat 'dem dirty, dirty Saints.

What do ya'll think the penalty(s) should be?

Personally, I'd strip them of their Super Bowl win and give it to the Cowboys!!!

I don't see the problem. If its the players own money going into the pot, where's the problem with that. It hardly constitutes a bonus when its your own money. Plus if someone is intentionally trying to remove another player from the game a thousand dollars is going to really sway them one way or the other. I mean heaven forbid someone should actually hit someone. 3 million dollars to play what is becoming glorified 2 hand touch. The NFL needs to bring the violence back.

I knew there was a reason a didn't like the Saints. Should they be stripped of their titles...no, I don't think so. Is it a blatant case of poor sportsmanship...absolutely. There should be review of game footage and suspensions issued for every instance of intentionally trying to harm another player i.e. the Brett Favre incident.

No titles stripped because this--if true--didn't give them a competitive advantage. Conventional wisdom has it that they're not the only team, but they got caught. If Goodelll is serious about improving safety I expect to see some fines, suspensions and loss of draft picks.

The head coach and especially the defensive coordinator should receive the punishment, if any.

Suspensions and fines.

The punishment can start with Gregg Williams, and then proceed directly to the actual players who decided that it made perfect sense to go onto the field with the intention of ending another player's career. There's many levels of stupdity in this, and they all deserve recognition.

If you just want to watch people get hurt, why not just hang out in the ER of your local hospital on Sunday afternoon? You'll see plenty of violent injuries there.

They still allow car wrecks in NASCAR, why not watch that instead? Yeee-Haaw!
