Anybody have any advice as to what to use? I know the largemouth will be deep but what to use is the mystery. Suggestions?

How much rain did you all get down there this past week? If that lake looks like anything we have up here in NOVA, I would look for the cleanest water possible and fish very slowly, I've been catching fish on small finesse jigs. Senko type baits will also work. Let us know if you hang any studs!

quanjig... We have had a steady rain for about 18 hours now. Not heavy but steady. Still raining a little so I am going to hold off going until it lets up a little about 9 or 10. Just stay til dark.

Sorry topwaterrob... I know very little about where to fish in WB. I do plan on learning, though. if you find any info... let us know.

Started out slow but ended up catching 3 largemouth. No real size to speak of... bout 2 pounds. Still it was three. Wouldn't hit anything until I put on a Storm Kickin' Shad Blue Gill. Going to try and go tomorrow.

Zoff, did you have some good water to fish?? Water temps??

Temps were about 47. Visibility was about 2 to 3 feet with it getting really bad at the shore where there was mud instead of rock. Some pretty good winds washing water up the shore causing the red mud to stain the water thick. Everything I caught was was in 9 feet or less on hard bottom near the rock shores. I did have some bites in 2 to 3 feet of water but no catch. Found large schools of something hovering around 15 feet but no bites. Several schools of baitfish at the same depth but very little coverage by predators.

BTW... I did try the BiteItBaits that I got from here. No luck but they wouldn't hit ANY thing similar so I do not blame the bait. I will try them again tomorrow on a different presentation.
