gr8outdoorz Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Anyone on here ever use Gary Yamamoto's D Shad? . I love using Slug-go's and Super Flukes for twitching along the top but I've been looking for a soft fluke style jerkbait that will stay down in the water column without adding weight to it. The D Shad sounds to me like it is basically a Senko shaped like a shad. Do they have about the same sink rate as a Senko? Thanks in advance! Quote
Brandon K. Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Seems to me they sink a bit faster than a Senko, but I'm liking that. The Lime Fever color is really nice. Quote
Super User Hooligan Posted March 1, 2012 Super User Posted March 1, 2012 They're close to a Senko in rate of fall. They fish a lot better than most other fluke style baits, for sure. I dig the ehck out of 'em. Quote
craww Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 When i first saw them i thought "man they copied the houdini shad". Which is a killer bait btw. None the less I think they'll have an awesome action and get bit. Quote
gr8outdoorz Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 Thanks guys! They sound like they are exactly what I'm looking for. I been thinking for a while "I wish they made a Senko fluke!" Hahahaha! I will be ordering some today. Thanks again for all the replies! Carlton Quote
