wldhors2 Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 HI, A friend and I are looking for a guide to fish Lake Erie this spring. I was wondering if anybody could recommend a reputable guide in the Buffalo NY area. Any help would be great. Thanks, Ron Quote

Super User Dwight Hottle Posted March 1, 2012 Super User Posted March 1, 2012 Captain Frank Campbell would be my choice. Also recommended by the In-Fisherman. Quote
Super User S Hovanec Posted March 2, 2012 Super User Posted March 2, 2012 Capt. Frank is good, but I gotta endorse my buddy Capt. Matt. Actually, when Frank is booked up, he sends people to Matt. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted March 2, 2012 Super User Posted March 2, 2012 I know I guy that's pretty good out there, give me the guide fee, I'll tell him I want to fish Erie on such and such a weekend and I'll meet him at the ramp, you show up in my place, I'll call him and vouch for you on the spot. LOL. J. Francho can vouch for this "guide" as well.....hahahahaha Quote
midnighthrasher Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Simon Frost is the best guide on Erie. I fish with him every year. He is always on Facts of fishing, he has been on Jp Derose and he finished 2nd on lake erie last year at the FLW. If hes not available the next best would be Gaspar Constabile. Quote
Erieangler Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Check out http://www.1stclass-bass.com/. Terry Jones is the guide. I was out with him years ago and he put us on fish -- good equipment, great boat, super guy too. In fact, talked with him 2 weeks ago at the Western New York Outdoor Show in Hamburg. Quote
