So I have been trying to so sum research about what is involved in in making soft plastics but I haven't come up with much info... Anybody out there have experience with making them? Looking for info re cost, ease, and effectiveness?

You'll need plastisol, glitter, scent, coloring, molds, salt, heat stabilizer and something to melt your plastic in. The most common things used for melting are a pyrex measuring cup and a microwave, a lee pot or a presto pot.

Look at lurecraft, bears baits, netcraft and you can get prices on all this stuff. I'm sure the guys that sent PM's have told you the same thing, but I thought I would add my 2cents!

The best website to learn about lure making is tackleunderground. Not to take anything away from BR, but that site is dedicated to tackle and rod making.

Thanks I appreciate the info. Definitely gonna do some more research. Want to make sure it will be worth it in the long run... I am sure I will have plenty of fun making them if I can figure out how...
