I am wanting to start out in making my own gear. Could one of the experienced makers here outline basics of where to start and tools? Show us a step by step how you make a bait. What tools are needed to start out would be nice. Sticky it, I have done a search and it is hard to sort through the results.

It would help to know what type of bait you want to learn to make as there are hundreds from soft plastics, to jigs, to spoons, to cranks, jerks, etc.
