Super User roadwarrior Posted February 23, 2012 Super User Posted February 23, 2012 Grilled bologna, a slab of extra sharp cheese with mustard on soft white Wonder Bread. I like a bag a chips with the sandwich. Being the health nut I am, no mayonnaise! Quote
Brian Needham Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 GEEEEEEE WIZZZZZZ !!!! I would need a bigger boat to haul my fat a** around after all that LOL !!! I guess that would explain my weight gain last summer!!! but really, I just keep those things in the boat, for snacks. Don't eat all of it, everytime out. It just good to have variety, LOL. fishing being the hobby it is, I find there is no sense in being a health freak while having fun. If you want to eat candy and fun snacks while fishing, By God you should be able to. OTOH, if you want to be a healthy food guy, by all means go for it.......I will smile and think of you while eating a moon pie!! HAHAHAHA. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted February 23, 2012 Super User Posted February 23, 2012 All these snacks sound excellent - but don't you think it would all be just that much tastier if ya dipped it in a bottle of JJ's Magic ? A-Jay 1 Quote
Super User bassfisherjk Posted February 23, 2012 Super User Posted February 23, 2012 Peanutbutter sandwhich and ice tea. Quote
piscicidal Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 No bananas on the boat...they're bad luck! One Publix sub (FL guys know what I'm talking about) or two tuna fish sandwiches and a thermos full of water. Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted February 23, 2012 Super User Posted February 23, 2012 BEER!!! It's dinner in a can. Quote

Help yourself my friend, all I was saying is I am already big enough, and if I were to eat all of that I would surely need more room in the boat AND my britches, that is if I didn't die from a heart attack first LOL. My 6 pack is now a KEG, don't laugh ! it took a lot of budweiser arm curls to get it to the perfectly rounded shape it's in now...it's sexy and I like it !!! As for the moon pies...I don't think the diet drinks are going to be much help to ya. Quote
Bob C Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I try not to drink much coffee or water if I plan on staying out very long. How long can you go without a pee break? The lakes I fish wouldn't be good for trying it in the boat. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted February 23, 2012 Super User Posted February 23, 2012 Carry a jug, like a Clorex container. Pee in the container, empty and rinse. 1 Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted February 23, 2012 Super User Posted February 23, 2012 I guess you're not superstitious, huh? No superstitions of any kind. Bananas are good food! Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted February 23, 2012 Super User Posted February 23, 2012 jerky, nuts, grapes, cherries, apples, bananas, string cheese, water. No beer. No sausages. No soda. No junk food. Hey, I thought you said you were a fun guy, lol...I guess you want your farts on the boat to be more...shall we say fruifull. Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted February 23, 2012 Super User Posted February 23, 2012 Carry a jug, like a Clorex container. Pee in the container, empty and rinse. OK thats breaking the rules !!!! TMI TMI TMI I think I can speak for a lot of us here when I say EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW !!!!! LOL. Quote
Bob C Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Carry a jug, like a Clorex container. Pee in the container, empty and rinse. That might be a little awkward with all the houses close to shore. I've seen people sitting with binoculars and watching guys fish. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted February 23, 2012 Super User Posted February 23, 2012 If you are trying to be discrete, do you really care if someone gets a glimpse of your wiener? In my case, especially on a cold winter day, they're going to need a telescope anyhow! 1 Quote

jkarol24 Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I almost always have the lucky honey roasted peauts. Gotta have them or i wont catch fish. Some sort of trail/snack mix will also make it in the boat along with some gatorade and water. However, i've leaned that for me, i CANNOT and WILL NOT eat ANYTHING before about 9:30 at the earliest. #2 on the water is simply the worst. Plus, i stick to a small dinner as well. Also, i always have an energy shot/drink in the tow vehicle to slurp before i start driving. Man am i tired after a tournament day, I need something to get me home. As for peeing, i have no shame Head to the back of the boat, pee over the back and try not to hit the motor. Quote

Ha!!! speak for yourself, I just convince people it's a water cooled fishing rod...funny part is they ask where they can get one...go figure. And besides RW we were talking about food, couldn't you have just pm'd the guy for goodness sake !! LOL. Quote

fowlskies Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 If you can't hit a big, empty Folger's can, you got issues or shouldn't be out on the water, LOL Haha...thats basically what I bring except its one of those big Maxwell House cans with the handle on it. Its a good unisex p*ss can, when my daughter's have to go its a lot easier than a clorox bottle. It also doubles as a bailing can if need be. Quote
tholmes Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Fresh fruit, dry roasted peanuts, hard-boiled eggs (I peel 'em and put them in a Zip-Loc bag before I leave) a few bottles of water. maybe a sammich or two depending on how long I plan to be out. I'm also diabetic and have to be careful what I eat. Definitely no sweets, Tom Quote
