I use either the Zoom Centipede or the Zoom Lizards

Bright sunny days, good clarity......Watermelon or watermelon /red flakes

Less sun, good clarity.....Green pumpkin

Other....black

Some days they want the centipede, other days, the lizard....that I cannot figure out.

I agree with all these posts! Also a Zoom fluke, senko, tube,Robo worm,Paca Craw or Baby Paca Craw! If you fishing beds in more of a open area try a Rapala FO-7, it will drive them nuts! It just stays in there face!

I don't know what it is but for the past six or seven years I've noticed that prespawn bass prefer soft plastics with appendages so I stick with lizards or any creature bait. I've never tried a french fry during prespawn. I'm going to put it on my shopping list.

My favorite Caroina Rig bait is the Brush Hog, but I'm really looking forward to trying out Bite It's Double X.

Man if you are fishing with a carolina rig you need to use a Baby Brush Hog. Either use watermelon, watermelon candy, watermelon magic, or black neon dependent on the conditions. Also spraying a little bit of chartruese on the ends also help.

X2

The lizard has been the most productive for me even when the jerk bait is hot the lizard always seems hotter on a c-rig.
