Super User 00 mod Posted April 29, 2012 Super User Posted April 29, 2012 Let us know how the day care pond works out for you. I have fished it 3 times with NO bites, so I was beginning to wonder. How is the moss out there? Last 2 times it was terrible! Jeff Quote
addictedtothefly Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 no moss at all today...just the lily pads around the edges...the place intrigues me, there are definitely bass in there (i spooked at least 5-6 walking the bank), but they seem pretty skiddish, i guess it comes with the territory, 1 acre ponds. MemphisFF Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Hey Memphis guys, new guy here I've fished some of those lakes, esp the ones in Neshoba park with good sucess. The fish you see was caught there on a grape culprit worm, last year. Haven't hit that place up in a while. The snakes I hate. Quote
MemphisFF Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Is Grove the lake with a real small parking area on the northeast side, off the Dogwood Creek neighborhood street? Ive fished there before.. Quote

michaelsrex Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 I also wanted to share a place a friend of mine from work told me about. I call in the #1 pond because it's shaped like #1 He is from Rossville and told me he helped sponsor a fishing tournament for children a few years back and they stocked this pond. It in the back of Hunting farms development but they only built a few homes. Once you get back there it's like having your own private small lake, it's pretty big. He has told me there are plenty of cat fish in it. I fished it yesterday though without a bite even though decent sized fish could be seen jumping out of the water apparently feeding. If anyone wants to add it to your list of places to go it's quite peaceful. It's just of 57 (Poplar ave) ave you go through Rossville, you drive to the back of the development and will see the fishing sign. https://maps.google.com/maps?q=35.047368,+-89.539911&num=1&t=h&vpsrc=0&ie=UTF8&z=18&iwloc=A Quote

Ryan Adams Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Hey you guys im new to the forum and had a few questions! I just bought a 6in huddelston swimbait and a few kanan swimbaits and was wondering which lake in the Germantown area would be best for me to try to catch a monster on one of these. I was thinking about maybe either Collierville city hall or Neshoba but yalls suggestions would be great! Thanks Quote
