I was wondering what everyone thought of these lures is it worth buying 2 rc stx jerkbaits vs buying one luckycraft pointer? And was 2ordering what you thought of his square billed crankbaits.

You're going to get a lot of different answers to the first part of your question but I don't understand what you mean after it. As for getting two of the RC STX instead of one Pointer I would go with the two RC STX just because it is a proven design and I've heard other say it has great suspending qualities. I think most would go this route unless money is of no concern. I liked Pointers for one reason, they suspended really well at a wider range of temps compared to most of the suspending jerkbaits on the market and that simple fact made them worth the money to me.

The STX are great baits. At least as good as my MB110's for catching fish, if not better. But LC makes some great pointers, too. I have several of their 78's and 90's in SP, DD and XD sizes. Overall, I probably catch more fish on the LC's than the STX, so if I had to choose between them, I'd probably go with the LC's. Spro McStick is another great jerk bait to consider.

The RC's fish great. I fully reccomend them. A warning however. On the very first fish I caught (well my 6 year old son did actually) the trebles where nearly straightened by a 3lbr (on 8lb mono not even braid). They are sharp but very very weak.

The RC cranks and jerks are both very good baits. If you're just trying to build up a collection of baits I'd go with 2 RCX's. If you have plenty and you are just looking for one really good bait I'd go with a LC but they are both very good baits that will catch you fish.

Our local BPS pro really likes the new RC line in general, but I don't about the jerkbaits, the square bills he compares to the old luckycraft RC line.

The square bills were a very good bait for me last year. Caught plenty of bass and no issues at all with them.
