Randall Tharp of Gardendale, Ala., has endured the changing weather during the bass fishing tournament and led the first two days of competition with sacks each day that weighed more than 30 pounds.

Looks like Tharp was the only person to really get into them today. Another 20+ pound bag. 101 and change total. He said he was flipping an 1 1/2 ounce tungsten pegged to a beaver style bait in black and blue. Dropping it into the nastiest stuff he could find.

Dude is unreal on Okeechobee.
