Well the last month it seems like I've been sick over and over again. A few nights ago it appears I may have gotten a bad pizza because not soon after problems started. Things got worse and worse ended up a couple nights ago with a fever that left me with horrible chills and dehydration. Everybody wanted me to go to the Hospital. I refused because I don't want to sit in a bed with a fracture pan (crap pan) bored out of my mind and having needles stuck in me. I mean for god sakes I work in a hospital and I don't won't to have to be in one all the time LOL. So anyway toughed it out that night went to the dock the next day. He pocked prodded me and weighed me. I'd lost 15lbs since the week prior when I was there. Was put on a clear liquid diet for a few days (hadnt been able to eat anyway) and had blood drawn and told no work until he gives me the ok. We also had blood drawn for tests and I get a call yesterday some Blood sugar levels were high and something about liver enzymes. So now there doing some extra tests on my blood. The old moms a nurse and she's got my whole procedure already planed it seems lol. I'm hoping it all comes back that I'm all good . With no need for a Hospital visit but I'm a little worried I'm still having some stomach pains.

That is scary.

Glad you are better.

Wonder if any others got sick from the pizza store where you bought your pizza?

Speedy recovery!

Hope you get to feeling better soon. My wife was at the hospital all day yesterday with out son. He had a 102 fever, severe stomach cramps and everything that goes along with that. They did a CT scan for his appendix and that was negative. They diagnosed him with norovirus, which seems to be going around on an epedemic scale here in NC.

That's a shame. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Hope you get well real soon.

Take care of yourself, and don't try to "tough it out".

I'm sure your doctor is taking the proper course of action. I do know, out of experience, high blood sugar level is not taken lightly. High or low sugar can affect all sorts of your well being.

Well I haven't heard back from him today so that should be good news. The lab passes along the abnormal stuff ASAP to the docs and they let us know. While if its normal we have to wait according to the lab techs. I don't feel so bad now, stomach fairly tender and a little week but besides that I feel pretty good. Strange how all I can think about is getting well enough to fish a tourney in a couple weeks LOL.

BTW- THANK YOU very much for all the well wishes.
