Super User Lund Explorer Posted February 7, 2012 Super User Posted February 7, 2012 Not so much that they grind my gears, I tend to feel sorry for the people who: 1) Feel so insignificant with themselves that they must play their music loud enough to rattle glass a mile away. I can understand why a newborn cries when they want to get fed, or the inevitable side effects from that feeding, as it is their only means of communication. But I will go to my grave trying to figure out how poor some near-adult's life has to be to continue the practice. 2) Think it is a great idea to put their companies on Facebook and then beg their customers to "Like" them. My first thought is that it should be the other way around. Shouldn't a business "Like" the customers that spend their hard earned money on their products? My second thought is why isn't there an option to either "Tolerate" or "Dis-Like" somebody. Some months ago, I read a news article that discussed the stigma some people felt when they didn't get enough "Likes". Obviously, the human race is rapidly circling the drain! 1 Quote

Joke about suicide and with that complain how bad they have it and cry about everything when really they don't have it bad their are alot of less fortunate people out there in our country and others. I can't stand it though I have people that say that **** every day I feel like saying ur a POS here's a gun and some bullets do us all a favor cuz ur just a waste any ways with the bs. But I never do or say that but sure would like to my my god. To me suicide is the most selfish thing in the world I don't care how bad you have it it's never an answer. I'm not gonna lie I thought I had it bad when I was a teen and i thought it was the answer but I came to my senses when a friend took his life over a prom date. It's just rediculous thought nothing in life is ever that bad And well I'm at it Young parents that got knocked up to young and want nothing to do with their kids and don't change their life styles to give the kids what they deserve. I had kids too young and outa wedlock and I manned up got married gave up drinking smoking partying fancy cars and systems and settled down and I couldn't be happier it's the smartest thing I have ever done my kids and wife are my world. I can't stand to see kids with kids and neglect them or see em in the stores buying tons of beer and stuff for themselves and nothing for the kid crying for a simple toy or candy bar. Or I'll see "friends" out and ask where their kids are just to hear they pawned em off or they moved in with the grand parents so they could keep partying. It makes me wanna slap the **** out of them. I see it all the time though and it sends me over iv gotten in peoples faces in parking lots or stores over it. Ok my rants over some thing set me off just now that put me on this topic and I figured it's perfict for this thread cuz it def grinds Y gears and getsmy blood boiling 1 Quote

Get in the left lane so they don't have to sit in line and then as the left lane ends try to force their way into the right lane. Think that just because you are in the left lane and passing cars on the expressway think that it is ok to tailgate you because you are not going the speed that they want. This is despite the fact that you are already over the speed limit. Tailgate everyone that they follow ( Women seem to be a disproportiante offender ). People who tailgate you even while sitting at a stop light! ??? People who are stopped 20ft behind the car in front of them at a stop light. I'm sure some of the distances might just be my perception but man for some of them it seems like if they so much as fart that they are going to run into me! lol Quote

I REALLY hate it when "elders" think they deserve respect only because they are old, but are downright NASTY people. There is no reason for it, other than because they are old, they think they can get away with it. I've known plenty of older folks who were GREAT! So it's not just a part of getting old. Quote

One thing I know for sure is that there are exceptions to most everything. My post was aimed at the people who just in general disrespect their elders, you know the ones who won't give up a seat on the buss, who curse them because they drive a little slower, move a little slower in the check out line. Allot of these older folks fought in wars that were much different than ours, they have lived through the great depression and the dust bowl, I guess I was just saying a little understanding goes a long way. 1 Quote

I can say completely honestly that I am a very polite, respectful, and personable kid. But, if you're an a-hole, that can go away very quickly. I totally understand that I'm 18, have basically zero real life experience, and in fact, rarely "know better" than anyone that is to be considered an elder. I get it. I'm a young, oblivious to the real world kid, but I'll be darned if you're going to write me off as a moron because of my age. Teens that think "they hard", or, in other words, are badasses. You're not. You're an arrogant, ignorant turd that is going to be apalled when reality hits and you are dumped in to life. Just because daddy bought you a new car, you speak like you're intentionally butchering the English language, and have an incredibly heightened sense of your masculinity when you're around your friends does not mean you could whoop me, take me, beat I disagree, etc. Genuinely stupid people that somehow become TEACHERS. You all would be blown away with how much time is wasted during a school day. Of the six hours, we do maybe an hours worth of work. Young adults who have no respect for others. Many people are "book smart" meaning that they can read or study the material and regergitate it back for a good grade. Others are kiss-axxes who get good grades due to "projection" by the teacher. "Projection" is when the teacher knows that Little Sally is going to get an A and no matter how bad the work, Little Sally ends up with an A. As for you defending your mom, all the culprit has to do is meet your dad and the culprit will be the nicest person in the world towards your mom. (Guys,if you ever meet Fat-G's dad he is extremely smart, nice and very intelligent and he has forgotten more about the sporting world than you remember. Plus the fact that he is around 7 feet tall!!!!) As for working only a few hours in class during the day, as long as the SOLs are acceptable the teachers will teach to the SOLs and you, being the smart kid you are, will just have to suffer through the day until you get to college next year and start having challenges in the classroom and a lot of fun with the other college students. Just ask Hookingem! See you at the ponds when the weather gets warmer. And the boating invitation is still open. Quote
