Super User slonezp Posted February 14, 2012 Super User Posted February 14, 2012 1. People who thinks there better cause they are from the north! 2. People who thinks they are a pro and can't catch a bream on a cricket! 3. People who thinks wearing a shirt with fishing logos they are a pro! 4. People who thinks they should own the boat ramp and take there time! 5. People who thinks they are big and bad behind the key board! 6. People like myself that has no clue how to fish a new lake and wins a tourney! First of all, here in yankeeland we don't have bream, they are called bluegill. Second, I wear shirts with fishing logos because they are free, and no one wants to see my man boobs. Be patient with the ramp people. Learn from their mistakes. Quote

If they still take as long after, then you can blame yourself. Quote

Do scientists refer to the fish when using their common name as bluegill/sunfish, or as bream? People that put "S's" at the end of words when it makes no sense grinds my gears Quote
OHIO Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Uhhh, I was fishing all day Sunday. Monday, I spent 1/2 my waking hours at work. You do the math. Half your waking hours at work isn't that much honestly, unless you're awake for around 20 hours I guess. Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted February 15, 2012 Super User Posted February 15, 2012 I started working from childhood, my dad's market, paper routes, drug store clerking, stocking shelves at the A&P midnights when I was in college. Once I entered adulthood there was never a day of unemployment, 40 years of it being s/e. Plenty of days that weren't fun, things to do that I was not looking forward to, but you do what you gotta do. If you truly love what you do, you don't mind putting the time and energy into it. Monday is just another day, no better or worse than the other 6. Quote

No truer words have ever been spoken. Even with the occasional dull drums of my current job, which is completely my fault currently. I love being a electrician and welder. I would not trade it for anything. I prefer construction and industrial over service work. However even doing service work I've never dreaded a single day of work. Hopefully everyone can find a job they truly enjoy with all their being. 1 Quote

KCL655321 Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Fishing related, brand fanboys that come into comparison threads & trash a reel they've never used & throw out mind blowing hyperbole(except they actually believe it) about their favorite brand reel. Also, people that "handle" reels in store & then commence to review it like they've had it on the water. I've handled reels that didn't feel that great when just playing around with them, but once on the water really shined. To me, it's like sitting in a car & fiddling with the buttons & then talking about how it drives. Non-fishing related, people that turn on their blinker right as they're turning. I'd seriously like to be able to go up to people that do that & window shot them. You obviously know you should use your blinker, yet you don't turn it on until you're turning, so what's the freaking point! People that live on their cell phones. My brother has showed up to hang out before for a couple hours & he spends over half the time walking around the house or yard yacking on the phone or playing with text messages. 1 Quote

The things them brats say and ***** about amazes me. My mom bought me 2 guns outa the probably 100 iv gone threw a spider and a rf worrgames cocker a 99 actually. I never griped like kids do now. It is fun when they complain they can't play with sai gun that it's not the newest and greatest then I bust out my shoe box shocker or a pneumatic cocker and smoke em some times with out a hopper single feeding em. I still have the two relics an a steel o2 tank just to see the faces I get and walk all over rich spoiled brats on the field. Quote

The old school shocker sf(shoe box) gets the most attention it's huge and slow for being an electro gun I need a new solenoid for her though she leaks and doesn't like to cycle under 2500psi and it's a air hog so it goes quick. Another thing that grinds my gears as I'm sitting on cq duty at 151am missing sleep is guys who sleep past there shift and I have to go wake them up so I can go to bed. Needless to say some ones bunk just got flipped over and they fell on the ground. Sure lit a fire under there arse to get here on time next time. Quote
