humanity in general, anglers who bash other anglers rods/reels because they dont say "gloomis" or "shimano", theyre the worst that ive encountered, keyboard gangsters, people who think they can fight, gangs, the dumb crap they do, racism, discrimination, bullying, jersey shore, people who dont shut up ever, people who mumble, annnd a lot more but id probably run out of room to type so for now ill leave it at this.

i agree, on other fishing forum several guys bashed me because i told them that my favorite rods/reels were daiwas, quit using that forum that day

yea man its ridiculous. my favorite rods are irods, theyve been amazing for me and the 2 new models comin out are gonna be even better. my favorite reels are lew's, amazing quality reels and when ive mentioned that on a different forum, oh boy those dudes started bashin my gear and it was just ridiculous. ive seen guys use their "wal mart specials" to out fish guys with high dollar gear. idc if one spends 400 bux on a rod and 200 or so on a reel, if that person cant effectively use that equipment to catch fish than it really doesnt matter how much the rod/reel was or what name is on it. i really cant stand that crap. on that same forum i see a bunch of guys whining and crying about the "crappy rookie leagues" and how its their fault that the aba motherload tournys arent 45 boats or whatever and i just think, maybe if most of those dudes werent such douch bags, the turn outs would be better. people need to stop being so judgemental and flat out ignorant because all that does is divide us as a country, people, and as anglers who love bass fishing be it for the fun and love of the sport or competition. i really cant stand people who blame others for their ignorance and lack of respect.

Besides those seeking attention through their boom-boxes, there are two other types that should be taken off the highways.

The rolling boat showers! The pull up in the lane to the left of your boat and sit there admiring it. The wife, sitting next to this bozo is giving him the what for about the fact he is never going to be allowed to own something like that, while in the meantime, you are quickly approaching a slower vehicle in your own lane. Doesn't matter though as this guy is paying more attention to what he can't have rather than what the traffic is doing. The only option is to throw the left turn signal on and start heading his way! They usually wake up about the time you have them crowded almost into the median.

Even worse? These are the people who are afraid to get behind someone towing a trailer. Try to avoid rear ending one of these dolts when you are hauling 30' of travel trailer at highway speeds when they dart out in front of you at less than 10 car lengths. The same idiot will then proceed to drive down the road a 5-10mph slower than the speed limit. They sure are lucky they won't have to pass that darn trailer!

Ten car lengths? try towing a boat on the Cross Bronx Xpressway three hours before a Yankees game. Those idiots are so use to squeezing in behind your bumper, many tried to get between my truck and my boat when drove it back from Long Island!

While I'm in full fledged rant mode, we might as well get into the telephone.

I have to wonder about the fiscal health of any company that can't afford to hire a real American to answer their phones. A toss up between the automated voice (listen careful as the options have changed) or the guy/gal that may know English but just can't speak it! The only fun in any case is getting to sidetrack long enough to explain to the underpaid human that if they formed a union they could make more than Fifty Cents P/Hour. I always explain to them that a receptionist in this country makes at least $10 per/hour, just to give them something to think about.

If I ever get past a machine to talk to a human, I ask for a full explanation to the company's financial health. Why would I want to buy something from a company that can't afford $10 per/hour?

Finally, try getting put on hold with the IRS. Do you think it's subliminal advertising to play the theme to the Nut Cracker to everyone stuck on hold?

Ask their share holders, not the dolt that answers the phone.

Lund Explorer, I can't agree more.

I received a call from a guy who could harldy speak English. He was definately from India.

So I always ask the callers from India if they have seen any elephants or tigers. And if they have any cows as pets?

This usually confuses them and they hang up.

Give it a try. It is fun and funny at the same time.

P.S. I had one guy talk to me about elephants, tigers, cows and cobras and he said he lives in the city and does not see any of these animals. We actuall had a conversation about the animals in India.

People at work that like to hold meetings in the middle of the aisle instead of inside a conference room.

Very educated book smart people without a lick of common sense, and think they know everything.

Raider, another thing I do is scream the following into the phone after about 30 seconds of listening to the unsolicited callers:

Remember, I yell this.

"Aaahhhhh! I just spilled hot coffee in my lap and burned my balls."

I then hang up.

Try that one. It is lots of fun,

1. A boss who tells you two different ways to do the same thing, you do it the easiest way, then it is wrong, then gets on your case for "always trying the easy way", then has to make a big deal about it to co workers about the mistake, even though his crews makes mistakes daily. (sorry, bad day at work)

2. Idiots.

3. Old knots left on lures/hooks.

4. Little League parents who holler at the coach. If you can do better, then volunteer YOUR time to coach you freakin #2!!

5.. Wind.

6.. Being pinched.

7.. Grown men who can't get, and keep a job, sit at home and sleep while their girlfriend works 10 hour days to support her own kids AND his sorry arse.

x2 Red, me and you think an awful lot alike. I especially hate the little league parents/or coaches. who yell at the kids taking the fun out of everything. the dads who expect their son to get everyball and never strike out. it takes the fun out of it.

So Many threads routinely go completely unanswered/unresponded to and so far this one has 5 pages.

But I'm not complaining.
