I did see these frogs at the Gander store. And they look real nice, but I will stay with the Snag Proof Phat frogs. But I may try one!

I used a few last year, they are decent. I didn't have any issues with them. Caught plenty of fish. IMHO they skip better than the Spro's I usually use, and they walked fine right out of the box. I like that they have a rattle in them. Spro still gets the nod for better overall frog IMHO.

I tried a few of them, I wasn't really all that impressed, atleast not at the price point. I'll stick with my Scum Frog Trophy Series lures. They're cheaper than most, and have premium hooks.

never noticed the scum frog "trophy series" until this post FL..the one i bought in the past was o.k., but too light for a braid/baitcaster set-up and took on a lot of water.

I see the trophys are 5/8 & 1/2 ounce size now, which should be real nice with a heavy braid/slop set up and a few bucks cheaper then the others..will try a couple this season.

I still use the original scum frog I don't have an issue with casting them on a 7' heavy rod and 50# pp casts just as far as I can throw a spro. As far as the KVD I seen them but didn't really hook me I'm still sticking to my stock pile of TT frogs spros and scum frogs I got enough to last a life time like 80 frogs......hey they were on sale

I didn't like the KVD frog much. The body is soft and it tears pretty easily. The hooks aren't that great, either. I tore the hook out of two of them in about three hours. I'll stick with the SPRO and Jackall.

They're one of the better hollow frogs I've used. They don't seem to fill up with water as much as my spros, they've got that brass balancer. Yeah, they're a good slop bait with braid.
