Super User roadwarrior Posted January 31, 2012 Super User Posted January 31, 2012 The story is on the net, but is restricted here. 14.58 lbs, caught and released! Quote
telmomarques Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 if its smallmouth bass, then its world record Quote
Super User J Francho Posted January 31, 2012 Super User Posted January 31, 2012 Largemouth. Current record is 14-8. This would be about an ounce bigger. Quote
Hyrule Bass Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 The story is on the net, but is restricted here. 14.58 lbs, caught and released! i'm not questioning policies or anything. im just curious as to why the story is restricted here? Quote

Super User 00 mod Posted January 31, 2012 Super User Posted January 31, 2012 WOW! Great that it was released as well! Difficult decision, but the CORRECT one! Jeff Quote
radtech Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Impressive fish! That had to be a difficult decision! Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted February 1, 2012 Super User Posted February 1, 2012 Let me compliment the angler, very nice fish. Posting a pic from another site is pretty easy. I don't understand why some posts from forums other than Bassresource are restricted and others are not. I was able to post the thread from the forum in question, being a competitive board I can understand it being deleted at a later time by a moderator, out of respect to BR I have edited it out. I don't understand the double standard, which I have also edited out. Powerpro Super Slick post #11. Quote
Dave T. Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Can someone PM the link the article? I would like to read it and check the other site out. I may end up liking that site too. Quote

Bigbarge50 Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 An amazing catch. Also with with cameras and such today being so great, think makes realeasing a fish like that a much easier decision can do..... a few pics, a few measurements, and you have an exact replica of your fish while you can maybe catch that fish again with an extra lb on it and reset the record haha. That is a fish that wil leave a smile on your face for a long long time. And just because it popped up here about posts and such, Thanks moderators. Amazing job with little thanks. Quote
Dave T. Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 http://www.gameandfi...aught-released/ Thanks man. Quote
