Ima Bass Ninja Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I've tried to do this on some of the spinnerbaits that have some corrosion on them , and i have had little if any success. Most of the time the wire just breaks off (this happens mostly with SK stuff) . Any body got any tips to keep the wire from breaking? Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted January 26, 2012 Super User Posted January 26, 2012 Without a pic, it's hard to say, but usually spinner blades are on a split rings attached to the swivel and you can switch them out at the split ring. If the spinnerbait employs a barrell or crane type swivel then you would have to rebend the arm by simply cutting off the old bend and then rebend. At this point you can add a new swivel and while your at it, add a snap to the blade and swivel to make change outs easier in the future. Here's a pic of a spinnerbait with a snap: 1 Quote
