Just how i rate em. Just threw the lj dd this year, with good results. The hot lips has been a ol standby for years for me... I always have got away with 8lb mono(pline cxx), but gonna try 10lb flouro this year. I have a friend who shaved the bill of a 30+ and was hung in top of a tree in 32ft of water... Tree was like 5ft tall. So like 27ft. At least thats what the lcx said..Plug knocker got it back though... gotta love those things .

I guess I'm just old school, but the DD22 has been a consistant producer for me.

For "medium deep", 10'-12', the LC Staysee rules!

Do you fish the staysee like a crankbait? I thought it was a DD jerkbait?

I never gave the bandit 700 much of a chance because I never thought it would fully reach it max diving depth.

I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner regarding the Bandit, it will hit app 16' depending on line size and cast length. I would consider it a deep diver but it will not run as deep as 6XD and the Spro. I've done well with the Chrome Bluegill color, it's a very productive bait for that depth range plus they are in the 5$ range so it does not hurt real bad if you lose one on occasion.

I like the Spro little john DD and Norman DD22's. I also have a few Bomber BD7's that catch fish for but i made sure to put some VMC hooks on them first.
