Were both blads on the same arm or were there two seperate arms? The double bladed spinnerbait, where both blades are on the same arm, is probably the most popular design made. The baits with two arms have more of a cult following but can be very effective in the right situations, night time seems to be the best time for me. Quote

I haven't fished them, but it looks like the doubled blades on separate arms would over torque the bait right over. Did you find that to be the case Hooligan? Atleast a tandem config would have counter rotating blades to stabilize the bait a bit. I guess I don't have enough confidence to spend money on something that "looks" like it won't work. Quote

The objective with multiple arms like that was to use the baits as a "drop" bait, where you lift & drop the spinner repeatedly through cover. Can be worked really slow. Unfortunately, they don't make them like they use to, with the large bucktail body. Deadly! Quote

It doesn't seem to be an issue with those blades that are in line with one another, though. The doubles I use are simply for helicoptering, basically. Big size 7 Indiana blades and 1 ounce heads. It's a substantial package that falls relatively slowly. GREAT for bluff walls and ledges. Quote
