Are you ready to rumble?

This should be a great Super Bowl.

Who do you like, Gisele's husband or Peyton's little brother?

Let the games begin!

I think the Giants match up pretty well. Defense is playing well, and can get lots of pressure with just 4 guys.

And Manning, and the offense can put points on the board which is going to be important against Brady.

The biggest thing in favor of the Giants is that I think they will be able to run the ball against the pats. If that is the case, it will make Peyton's job that much easier.

I haven't wanted someone to win the superbowl this much since the 07/08 season

Both teams seem to have upped their games.

The Pats defense has really done an about face. They were terrible earlier in the year.

The Giants were erratic. You never knew which team was going to show up. Like the Pats, their defense was porous.

The Giants beat the Pats in Foxborough earlier, no small feat. They gave the Pack all they wanted in the regular season. They crumbled under the onslaught of the "mighty" Redskins, and lost games they should have won. After the loss to the Redskins, it was like someone had waved a magic wand, suddenly reviving their dormant defense. The Patriots, much of the same with their defense.

The season's records mean nothing. Both teams have stepped up, and it should be a war, unless one or both of the defenses suffers a relapse. Then it will be a shootout or a blowout.

I like the Giants and think it will be a great game. Since I haven't picked a winner since the end of the regular season my predictions are not locks...

I remember the Montana/Rice/Walsh era 49ers fondly, so I had a sentimental favorite during this playoff season. I was sort of looking forward to San Fran in the Superbowl.

But, a Brady vs Eli game will be fun to watch.

I'll pick the Pats; by two touchdowns.

Going to be a battle, but Giants all the way.

Pats weak secondary is going to have their hands FULL with Cruz, Nicks and Manningham on the fast turf.

Giants D is ready for Brady.

I honestly don't have much interest in this game. I don't follow either team. I literally forgot they even played against each other a few years ago in the SB. I have nothing against either team, but I, for one, will be watching the commercials more than the game this year. :sleep-058:

The last go around was anything BUT a snoozefest, though. One of the better SB's in recent memory. I HATE both teams, for the record.

Both teams match up favorably this year, but the Giants win in 2007 was an upset

of biblical proportions. New England was on track to run the table while New York

barely sneaked into the playoffs. The Giants were never favored in the post-season.

I'm nearly as excited about the game as I am to watch Madonna's half-time show!

Another Thrilla in Manila!

The current odds have the Pats favored by 3.5 and the over/under is 55 points.

I'm a Pats fan and I find it hard to believe that the Pats are favored at all.

After that squeak job in Foxboro Sunday they should be even at best.

I hope New England can pull it out but in my heart (and if I had to put $$ on it) I think the NY Football Giants will win.

I will however, break out a Red Solo Cup & proceed to party, if the Pats somehow pull it off.

I think the Giants will win, but it should be a really good game.

The Patriots defense has looked good this postseason, but they played the Broncos and the Ravens. Neither have good offenses.

The Giants on the other hand have a pretty good defense, a better rushing game, and better wideouts.

With that said, you can never sleep on Brady and the Patriots.

And being a Packers fan, I would at least like to say the they lost to a Super Bowl winning team.

C'mon Glenn, don't be like that. Your beloved "Stealers" can't be there every year! :laugh5:
