Shaw Grisby on my boat in the very early 90s.

I actually guided for him on a fly fishing tournament at lake Okeechobee. The Harold Deetar Fly fishing tournament, a friend of mine ran it at the time and we would bring out all these outdoor writers and celebrities. I was lucky enough to draw Shaw.

Great guy, he fished that little fun tournament like it was the Bassmasters classic.

Thats my same Storm when it was Blue & Gold, in 2000 I had it repainted. That was my first engine the Evinrude Fingerported 225, that engine screamed.

He would be the only person I would let clime on my cowling like that.

every guy who i know who has a storm, has had it for a loooong time. most of them just repaint and repower. speaks volumes for the quality of storm boats.

Exactly, whenever the boat argument comes up I ask wheres all the other old boats.

Big O's as well.

But its been good to me. Its on its 3rd engine, the best feature is that its paid for.

That was a cool shot of shaw on the cowling. Would not know it was the same boat as the white one i saw.

Great pictures and great experience! I personally like watch Grigsby's fishing shows. He seems like a good guy.

I have been involved in a couple of Shaw's shows as a camera boat. The thing about Shaw that is so likeable is that he is, off camera, exactly the same way he is on-camera. He is one of the most enthusiastic positive people you will ever meet.
