Super User Dwight Hottle Posted January 21, 2012 Super User Posted January 21, 2012 Hey Steve way to go. First picture taken with a fish under 6 lbs in a year. Everybody catches them they just don't take pictures of them. 1 Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted January 21, 2012 Super User Posted January 21, 2012 I don't recognize the background in the photo...................otherwise, I'd be thinking you had snuck onto one of my lakes and caught what we call a quality fish... Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted January 21, 2012 Super User Posted January 21, 2012 OK Steve - you had to know you were going to get quite a bit of "Feedback" regarding that Monsta ! Still, I'd take a few of those any day ~ especially TODAY ! A-Jay Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted January 21, 2012 Super User Posted January 21, 2012 Looks like you found my "Honey Hole". Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted January 21, 2012 Super User Posted January 21, 2012 Steve by the way you forgot to hide your hand in that picture! 1 Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted January 21, 2012 Super User Posted January 21, 2012 Around these parts a fish like that is called a lunker. Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted January 21, 2012 Super User Posted January 21, 2012 Heck, you could have just put a trailer hook on that puppy and thrown it back out there to catch one of the hawgs you usually get on that jig! Quote
Fat-G Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 he bleeds. Didn't see that coming. Bar none one of these absolute FUNNIEST posts I have ever read on this site. Well done shimmy, very well done. Nice fish Mr. Parks! Caught a couple like those myself today. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted January 22, 2012 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 22, 2012 Finessed a 1oz jig? Quote
Big-O Posted January 24, 2012 Author Posted January 24, 2012 I told my fishing partner that in this particular spot, the first fish was usually photo worthy... So we chuckled when this little guy ate first and I knew you guys and gals would get a kick out of it too ; ) Big O www.ragetail.com Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 24, 2012 Super User Posted January 24, 2012 Hope y'all enjoy this photo as much as I did having it taken. I finessed this MONSTA with a 1oz Jig and a Rage Lobster, lol. I like the trailer you choose...it resembles a real fish!!! Quote
Pete-K Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Thats what happens when you set the hook on a 17 lb fish. You jerked all the good out of that one. LOL Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted January 25, 2012 Super User Posted January 25, 2012 I saw the title and thought, 'he broke the 20 lb barrier'. Quote
MaineBassMan Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 He is just a mortal man after all!!! Way to go! Quote
Big-O Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 Glad y'all enjoyed that! Bet you noticed the PSD too. When I'm running and gunning (cking several spots quickly) or when it's cold and windy, I wear it even while fishing Keeps me warm, pads my ole ribs on hook sets and just in case one of those bigguns (like the one in the photo) pulls me in... I'll be a cork instead of a sinker Big O www.ragetail.com Quote
