what type of fishing apps does everyone use?

The only app that I use when fishing is Knot Wars. It’s a nice reference tool if my memory fails.

Navionics Mobile for the iPhone is by far the most useful app today. GPS, waypoints, depth contours and a whole lot more - all for around $15.

Fishing knots is a good one. Has animated instructions on lots and lots of different knots. Also, it is downloaded onto your iphone so that you don't need to access the 'net--which is nice if you fish areas where cell coverage is spotty.

I also like the Orvis app (if you fly fish at all). It isn't cheap, but I got a $10 coupon as well. Has fishing reports from literally everywhere.
