I got lucky on this one  She had me right where she needed me, to cause a "terrible cussin' tantrum"... but she gave me an opportunity to right my wrong

A tough cross wind caused a big bow in my line and by the time I reeled the bow out to feel, she was already chewin' and I set the hook! Immediately she found some deep brush and all things came to a halt. I tugged and jerked to try to free it quickly because I didn't want her to rip free or break the 25lb fluoro, but it didn't seem to help :eh: I sighed a bit and figured she was gone when the line was taught with no movement at the end... then "THERE SHE GOES" on a long deep run completely free from the snag  I smiled and said "Thankya Ma'am" then took my slow and easy time with her til she was ready to get in the boat... Sorry the photo was so dark, it was a late DATE

There is just something about wood fish that is so satisfying when you finally get the death grip on their lower lip.

Congrats, a well earned catch!
