gall Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 does anyone have them or use them i was looking at a 6'6 medium action spinning rods and looking at reviews its tough to tell if its worth the money a lot of people say they like them then theres the reviews they are horrible so i thought id ask people here since everyone on here has helped me out prior so anyone with any input would be great (im looking for a micro guide spinning reel 6'6 range for roughly between $100-180 dollar range) if anyone knows any other good micro guide spinning rods please mention it im having a tough time trying to find a good one Quote
Chris W Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 I do not have any but my fishing partner bought about 10 of them last year and I have fished with them some. He really likes them and from the little I fished with them, I did too. I cannot speak to their longevity but they do seem to be a good rod for the money they are fairly light and had good sensitivity. If I was looking for a rod in that price range I would not hesitate to buy one. Quote
bigfishbk86 Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Go with the duckett. I can't speak for the spinning rods but the baitcasters are fine rods! Quote
Five-Alive Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 my son has 4 of them so far, loveas them and plans to continue buying them. Quote
Aluma-Bass Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 as said above my partner fishes with the casting model and LOVES it! I fished with it a time or two and feels pretty darn good for price! My partner plans on getting spinning setup bf this season gets going. Quote
MrSwimJig Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 I have the 7' MH spinning rod and it is a great rod. Great sensitivity and plenty of backbone. Quote
northern basser Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I have the 6'9" MH casting rod and it is a nice rod! For the $ you can't go wrong with these rods. They are light, balanced, and have good sensitivity for a rod in that price range. Quote
MMan16 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I Love my 7ft mh. I plan on buying a few more soon. I think there nicely balance, light, and the micro guides make for longer and smoother cast. I also am i big fan of the split grip which is on it. For the money you wont have any regrets. Quote
