jkarol24 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Hey guys, Thought i'd give a quick introduction. My name is Jason and am from Rochester NY. At 17 years old, i fish tournaments with the Rochester Bassmasters and this year will be fishing the NYS Junior Bass Federations. I have one tournament win with the Bassmasters at Chautauqua Lake with a limit for 15.67 lbs and look to add more to my total. After fishing out of a little sit-in kayak for years, I've just purchased my first bass boat, a 1984 18' Correct Craft Nautique 1810 with a Mercury 150 Black Max on the back. I will be trying to fish as many tournaments as possible this summer in preparation for college fishing and beyond (considering the Univ of Florida, RIT, and Univ of Deleware). I look forward to adding to my knowledge of the sport i love, and am more than open to all help. Thanks in advance for any advice!! Jason Karol Quote

IneedAnewScreenName-972354 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Hey welcome Jeff! I fished out of the front of a john boat for years before I got my first bass boat so I know how you feel about your first boat. Good luck this year! Quote
KSRonH Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Hi and welcome. I grew up in Rochester area. I sure miss the quality of nearby fisheries you have. Living in mid-west now. Enjoy the site. Quote
jkarol24 Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Thanks guys. KSRonH- the fisheries are still awsome. Fingerlakes are realy producing! Only sad part is the diminishing Smallmouth fishery on Lake Ontario, its been real rough these past few years. O well, i can always get my smallmouth fix at Oneida Quote
